I’m really picky when it comes to smells. Because of this, when I find something that smells good, I make sure to make it part of my life. The most common way I do this is in the products I buy, so here’s a short list of some that are really tickling my fancy at the moment. I’m not arguing for the effectiveness of these products for their intended use, just how much my nose enjoys their presence. My Conditioner

OGX Anti-Hair Fall + Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Conditioner

I recently switched conditioners to this one, which smells incredible. It makes me look forward to washing my hair, and my hair smells great for the rest of the day which is beautiful. I’m not sure if it’s a good product for the health of my hair but, honestly, I couldn’t care any less.

My Candle

Target Brand Cozy Cashmere Scented Wax Melts

My wax warmer is one of my favorite purchases to date. If my home was burning, it would probably be the first item I grab on the way out (besides my camera probably). Currently, my favorite wax melt has been this one from Target. I’ve been using it for the past couple of weeks and will until I run out. I do believe it is going gain a spot in my wax melt scent rotation in the future, which of course is a very prestigious group to be a part of.

My Lotion

Aveeno Lavender Scented Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion

I hate having things on my hands, so usually, my hands are the same texture as a reptile’s skin. However, recently I started forcing myself to apply lotion throughout the day so that I become less reptilian. This lotion is what I’ve been using the most, and it does smell really good. I notice myself randomly smelling my hands throughout the day which is a pretty weird thing to do, but I simply do not care. Sorry, not sorry.

My Book

Delights & Shadows by Ted Kooser

This is by far the most niche pick on this list, but I stand by it. I recently got this book and I’m not sure why it smells so good to me. The new book smell is something that many avid readers can relate to, but this book smells really, really new. Like, I think they printed this book about 10 minutes before dropping it off at Barnes and Noble, and maybe 5 minutes later I walked in and bought it. It smells THAT new. I will say I also have enjoyed the book so far as well.

My Wipes

Clorox Scentiva Pacific Breeze & Coconut Disinfecting Wipes

Last week I ran out of Clorox Wipes, so I had to go to the store to buy some new ones. I saw these and figured, “Why not pay an extra dollar if these might smell better than the basic scent?” It was worth the extra dollar, because they do. I was cleaning my kitchen with them last night and it smelled better than the food I had cooked earlier in the night. That probably says more about my cooking than it says about the wipes, but they do really smell nice.
